At the end of October, a 39-year-old woman was shot in the Waldviertel. The alleged crime scene was their riding stable in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria.
However, the body was not found there by passers-by, but in an abandoned cemetery near Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic. There were cross-border investigations.
But it quickly became clear that the alleged perpetrator was the 34-year-old friend. His body was finally discovered in a barn near Langenlois.
There were no accomplices
The only question in the investigation was whether there were any accomplices. This is not the case, the Krems public prosecutor’s office has already stopped the proceedings, an authority spokesman said on Thursday in response to a request from .
The perpetrators and victims were Freedom Party officials at the local level. A spokesman for the FPÖ Lower Austria was quoted as saying at the time: “The act is a human tragedy.”
