One of the sons of the retiree who was found dismembered inside a suitcase in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Caballito was detained by City Police officers and in the middle of the operation he said that It was he who committed the brutal crime.
This is a 20-year-old young man who lived with the victim and who, according to his older brother, suffers from schizophrenia.
It all happened in the apartment where the 73-year-old victim lived with her youngest son on 1600 Aranguren Street.
It was the detainee’s brother, a 46-year-old man, who told the police that he went to his father’s house because he had not heard from him for days and when he arrived he found the dismembered body inside a suitcase and his head above the table.
Upon entering the apartment, the man who did not live there encountered the brutal scene.
Furthermore, he said that when he left the place, in the midst of the commotion, he met his younger brother.

In the midst of shock and following meeting his brother when leaving the apartment, the man called 911. Agents from the 6 A Bis neighborhood police station arrived at the scene.
The agents went to the apartment and, following confirming what was reported by the victim’s son, they arrested the son who lived with the father to begin an investigation into the case.
In the middle of the police operation, the detainee confessed to the crime and was detained by order of the court involved in the case.
