Several explosions sounded early Thursday morning in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, following a Russian missile attack, which left eight people injured and caused damage.

Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said via Telegram on Thursday that the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, is being attacked by Russian missiles this morning.
He added, “The air defense units are working to repel the attack, as missile fragments fell on various areas of the city, wounding eight people.”
The attack on Kiev came one day following a Russian missile fell on an industrial zone in the city of Kharkiv in northern Ukraine, killing five people.
