The fourth battle in the series is here!

The third even quarter-final match came down to separate raids, in which Mountfield HK was more successful and the series status is 2:1 for Dynamo following the third match. On Wednesday, March 20, at 6 p.m., the fourth duel of the quarterfinals will begin in the ČPP Arena in Králové Hradec Králové and will significantly influence the further course of the series.

The first derby in the history of the elimination battles still brings an attractive and exciting spectacle. So far, all matches have ended with a difference of one goal, only once was decided in regular time.

In the first duel of the series in the enteria arena, the score spilled over to both sides, the match eventually reached extra time, in which Martin Kaut scored the first win for Dynamo. A day later in Pardubice, both teams were leading once more and for a long time it seemed that extra time would have to decide the second time as well. Six seconds before the end, however, Robert Kousal took the floor and scored the second point for his team by stopping Radil’s shot.

On Tuesday, the series moved to neighboring Hradec Králové, and the third quarter-final match also brought an even match. The spectators did not see the first goal until the third period, when Mountfield took the lead. Dynamo equalized six minutes later thanks to Robert Kousal. Three minutes before the end of regular time, Matej Paulovič delivered the puck into the opponent’s goal, but the goal was ultimately disallowed. The match thus reached extra time, in which this time it was not decided and separate raids came next. Hradec was more successful in this discipline and following a 2:1 win following raids reduced the series to 1:2.

Wednesday’s match in the ČPP Arena will have a major influence on the further course of the series. In the event of a win, Dynamo gets a match point, on the other hand, Hradec can tie the series. The fourth installment of the quarter-final derby starts in Hradec Králové at 6 p.m., it will be broadcast live by O2 TV Sport.
