Having high standard roads in the country is one law away. In this new broadcast, we visit the Congress of the Republic to find out what the deputies think regarding it and if it is within their plans to discuss and approve initiative 5431, the General Law of Road Infrastructure, during the next few months, which was presented since 2019.
In addition, we travel towards the Palín-Escuintla route where it is expected that almost 40 thousand vehicles for Easter this year and on other special dates. This following the toll gates were opened in 2023, when 28 thousand vehicles were traveling at that time.
The increase in traffic also causes wear and tear on this road. For this reason, we also asked Guatemalans their opinion on whether they consider the condition of this route to be good, average or bad and some took the opportunity to send a message to the authorities in a Open Microphone from Escuintla.
