In the summer of 2023, national coach Julian Nagelsmann went among the campers. But now he is selling his luxury vehicle once more.
Munich – Go on vacation like Julian Nagelsmann? This is now possible! Because the national coach is selling his luxury camper. But since the vehicle was handed over to him less than a year ago, it also has its price.
Julian Nagelsmann is selling his luxury camper – due to lack of time
Review of July 2023: Pictures of a converted panel van appear on the Instagram account of the company “VR Motorhomes”, as well as a picture of Julian Nagelsmann accepting the keys for the luxury camper from managing director Valentin Rehrl. The sun is shining, and so is the national coach.
At that time he was still without a job; in March 2023 he had to resign from FC Bayern. But just two months later, the 36-year-old took over the job as national coach from Hansi Flick. Apparently there hasn’t been any time left for camping since then, which is why he now wants to sell his luxury camper once more.

Julian Nagelsmann’s luxury camper costs almost 140,000 euros
In the classified ad, the company “VR Motorhomes” writes: “Immerse yourself in the world of extravagant travel with the VR 6m campervan, which was once owned by the well-known national soccer coach and ex-FC Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann. Unfortunately, Mr. Nagelsmann doesn’t have much time at the moment and since it’s a shame to leave such an exciting vehicle lying around, there’s now the opportunity!”
The luxury mobile was specially made according to Julian Nagelsmann’s ideas and offers space for up to four people. Big advantage: It can be driven with a normal car driving license as it weighs less than 3.5 tonnes. But the camper also has its price: the advert states 136,000 euros. If someone offers more, part of the proceeds will be donated to the “Wings for live” organization.
Julian Nagelsmann makes the first hints regarding his future
Julian Nagelsmann signed a contract with the DFB in September 2023 until following the 2024 European Championship in his own country. It is not yet known what will happen next for him. After being nominated for the last international matches before the tournament in Germany, he said: “If there is an offer where everything fits, I will accept that too. But there is currently no offer.” In any case, there doesn’t seem to be any time left for camping – not in the future either. (msb)
