DEVELOPMENT of projects at IKN will continue in the long term. Therefore, the Samarinda Occupational Health and Safety Center (K-3) must be ready to be at the forefront of implementing K3 on projects in the National Capital City (IKN) of the archipelago.
“Development will take place not only in 2023, but also in the long term there will be many projects implemented at IKN. So the existence of the Samarinda K3 Center is very important and must be ready in advance so that the entire development process carried out at IKN ensures that K3 runs well ,” said the Indonesian Minister of Manpower (Menaker), Ida Fauziyah.
Minister of Manpower Ida conveyed this at the ‘Brainstorming of the Samarinda K3 Center Service Program and Workplace Hazard Control Strategies’, Saturday (16/3/2024) in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.
Minister of Manpower Ida further said that the Samarinda K3 Center was one of the K3 Centers that received priority for revitalization. Until now, the Ministry of Manpower continues to complete the revitalization process.
He said that revitalization was carried out both on human resource capabilities, K3 testing facilities and infrastructure, as well as building and construction facilities that were able to answer the challenges of massification and expanding the reach of K3 testing.
“The selection of the Samarinda K3 Center as one of the revitalized centers certainly does not escape the strategic plan for the development of the Indonesian Capital City in North Penajam Paser,” he said. (S-1)
