They took away Roly Serrano’s sedation. This was reported by his friend Osvaldo Laport in dialogue with DDM (America). The actor remains hospitalized with a reserved prognosis in the Intensive Care Unit of the High Complexity Medical Institute following suffering a car accident on Route 9.
Laport, who is in constant communication with Roly’s family, released an audio of the actor’s sister giving him good news. “They just gave us the report and you don’t know how happy we were. The doctor told us that the sedation has been completely removed, we have to wait to see if little by little he starts to open his eyes,” she is heard saying.
And he adds: “About the kidney part he said that he was completely fine. He doesn’t have any other medication, so everything is fine, positive. Maybe he told us that he is still a risk patient, but what he has to do is get his little lung to start breathing.”

In this regard, Laport highlighted: “I want to deeply thank all the health workers at the IMAC clinic who are accompanying Rolito, a lot of friends and family who love him, and several angels who were with the fat man at the time of the accident until that came here.”
What was the accident that Roly Serrano suffered like?
Roly Serrano suffered an accident in Baradero. The 68-year-old actor was driving in his car on Route 9 at kilometer 115 when he rear-ended another vehicle.
As detailed in the local newspaper Noticias San Pedro, Roly “was consciously admitted to the Lino Piñeiro Hospital ward although he suffered a decompensation minutes later.”

At the moment the reasons for the accident are unknown. As might be seen in the Nooticia images, the El Marginal actor was driving a gray Kia and hit from behind a white Ford Fiesta in which a family was traveling.
Carlos Baliela, the Medical Director of the Lino Piñeiro Hospital, told La Radio 92.3 that Serrano suffered “a chest and skull trauma.” Then, he was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of the High Complexity Medical Institute.
Regarding his current work, Roly was doing a national tour with Rolando, the one-man show that premiered in July 2023. Until now, he had already performed in different parts of the country.

According to what Carmen Barbieri said on her program Mañanísima (eltrece), the actor had a charity event in the midst of the shock from the impact.
“My dear Roly. I’m praying for you since what happened. When the crash happened, he got out of the car and asked people if he was okay,” said the driver. Lucas Bertero, one of her panelists, explained that at first Serrano “was fine and decompensated later, in the hospital.” “That’s why he gets out of the car and asks,” Barbieri added.
