ENCE turns the tide of the match
ENCE started today’s second match in a bad way. The Finnish organization’s players lost both the pistol round and the following round. Only on the occasion of the third skirmish did the Polish ranks awaken. And the change in the situation on the server was instantaneous. Kuben’s players won five more points, gaining a relatively safe advantage. However, this one might not be maintained, because KOI had the last word. The Karpies responded favorably to their rivals, also scoring five points in a row. This meant that following the first half they were leading 7:5. Nevertheless, ENCE still had a huge advantage up its sleeve – playing on the defending side.
And as even amateurs know, this is a powerful site on Nuke. Unfortunately, this was not the case, as the Polish-Danish collective was appallingly poor defensively. Or maybe it was KOI that was so strong in attack? It doesn’t matter. What is important is the fact that with each passing minute the situation of Poles was getting worse. Occasional points won didn’t change much here, because KOI was still in the lead, and in the 29th round they stood on the brink of victory. So was this the end of ENCE? The rumors regarding this were greatly exaggerated. Instead, Kacper “Kylar” Walukiewicz and company defended five times, leading to overtime. What’s more, the triumphant march of the Octopuses continued and following winning a total of nine rounds in a row, they finally tipped the scales in their favor, winning 16:12!
