During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of inter-parliamentary relations between Azerbaijan and Morocco, highlighted the importance of the visit of the President of the AR Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova to Morocco last December , and emphasized the existing friendly relations between the two countries.
The ambassador conveyed to the Speaker of the Moroccan Parliament the invitation of the Azerbaijani side to visit the country and participate in the VI World Forum for Intercultural Dialogue to be held in Azerbaijan in May 2024. This visit would contribute to further deepening parliamentary cooperation between the countries according to the two officials.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed issues such as the creation of the Morocco-Azerbaijan friendship group in the House of Advisors and cooperation within the parliamentary network of the Non-Aligned Movement.
Furthermore, taking into account the fact that E. Mayara is also the president of the Moroccan union, the parties also exchanged views on the establishment of contacts and possible prospects for cooperation between the unions of the two countries.
