Cara Delevingne’s house in Los Angeles, Friday (15/3), was destroyed by fire.
The actress and model were not at home at the time of the incident but there were two people plus Delevingne’s pet cat in the luxury house in the Studio City area. All were rescued without injury.
“My heart is broken today. I can’t be fooled. Life can change in an instant. So appreciate what you have,” said the 31 year old woman via Instagram.
“I thank the fire department and everyone who came to help,” he continued.
Delevingne bought the four-bedroom, 750-square-meter house in 2019 for US$7 million.
The model, who starred in the television series Only Murders in the Building and the film Anna Karenina, posted a photo of her two Persian cats with the caption, “They are safe. Thank you firefighters.”

Nearly 100 firefighters were dispatched to extinguish the fire.
“The fire department ensured all occupants of the home were out before moving into defensive mode due to the size of the blaze,” a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson said.
“A total of 94 firefighters worked for 2 hours and 16 minutes to overcome the fire,” he continued. (AFP/Z-1)
