According to the official, who was speaking to the press, as part of President João Lourenço’s visit to China, from the 15th to the 17th of this month, the Asian country continues to be a fundamental partner for private investment in Angola. He said that ZEE has 206 companies, 20 of which are Chinese, in sectors such as the production of hospital equipment, industrial, food, commerce, telecommunications and assembly of agricultural equipment. According to the source, the China-Africa Business Council has channeled financing to Angola, as it is a fundamental partner and has good areas for attracting investment.

In his opinion, it is necessary to continue promoting the exchange of experience and presenting the ZEE, due to its good location and being close to the new Luanda international airport. The Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone is a physically demarcated space, which has a perimeter with an area of ​​4,717.91 hectares. It was created to help diversify the economic base and contribute to the reduction of imports, promote exports, the creation of jobs and added value, as well as provide opportunities for professional development and contribute to the training and qualification of the workforce. national workforce.

Angola and China are strategic partners, with political-diplomatic and cooperation relations, which have seen a notable increase since 2000. The States have signed several legal instruments, in the social, commercial and business domains. Since 2007, Angola has been China’s largest trading partner in Africa, with a turnover that registered, in 2010 alone, a total of 24.8 billion US dollars.
