Clausura 2024 Tournament standings: A team practically said goodbye to the Major League
After the celebration of matchday 11 of the Clausura 2024 Tournament, a team practically said goodbye to the Major League of Guatemalan soccer.

From Friday, March 15 to Sunday, March 17, matchday 11 of the Clausura 2023 Tournament took place. The date resulted in an Antigua that further established itself at the top of the table and a Deportivo Coatepeque that is practically with a foot and a half in the First Division.
It should be noted that during this date only four games were played, since both Comunicaciones and Municipal rescheduled their duels once morest Zacapa and Malacateco respectively.
The day began with a duel between two clubs with different realities at the Pensativo stadium: Antigua GFC that is in the constant fight for the first places in the table and on the other hand Deportivo Coatepeque that following the overwhelming result of 4-0 that received at the hands of the green belly team, was practically relegated.
This is because Coatepeque has only 15 points in the accumulated table following 26 games and with only five more games to play it only aspires to equal the 30 points that Xinabajul has, however, The goal difference makes it almost impossible for Coatepeque to save the category.
On Saturday the 16th, Mixco defeated Xinabajul Huehue 2 goals to 0 and took second place in the championship with 22 points, just 2 behind Antigua. Already on Sunday the 17th Guastatoya and Xelajú MC tied 1-1 at the David Cordón Hichos and the last result was Cobán Imperial’s 1-2 victory over Deportivo Achuapa.
