The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation concluded its participation in the London International Book Fair 2024. During the participation, the Foundation highlighted its knowledge projects and initiatives, and organized a series of events and sessions within the “Knowledge Break,” “Knowledge Dialogues,” and the “Dubai International Writing Program.” .
The global event provided the Foundation with a platform to enhance its position in the knowledge scene, by highlighting its pioneering programs and projects, and highlighting its activities and initiatives to the community of authors, publishers, readers, and a diverse audience of those interested in the fields of science and knowledge, in addition to strengthening its position as a leading knowledge body at the local and global levels.
During the exhibition days, the Foundation’s stand witnessed a large turnout of visitors, as Mansour Abdullah Belhoul, the UAE Ambassador to the United Kingdom, visited the stand, accompanied by embassy employees, where they were briefed on its various knowledge initiatives and its latest projects. In addition, the platform received a group of Emirati students sent to the United Kingdom to continue their studies, where they were introduced to the Future Skills for All initiative and the opportunities it provides to young people in developing their skills and knowledge.
The Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, Jamal bin Huwaireb, stressed the importance of active participation in international knowledge forums and forums, because of their role in enhancing the UAE’s position on the global knowledge arena, pointing out that the London International Book Fair provided the Foundation with the opportunity to share its expertise. And highlighting its role in spreading knowledge at the global level.

During the exhibition days, the Foundation organized a series of knowledge and educational sessions under the umbrella of “Knowledge Break.” These sessions included various topics addressed by prominent figures in the world of knowledge and publishing. Dialogue sessions were hosted such as “Global Knowledge Dialogues and Arab Library Development” with the participation of Hisham Al-Jahdali and Fahd Al-Awda, and “Intersections of Translation: Between the Translator and the Publisher” with the participation of Fatima Al-Khatib and Dalal Nasrallah. The sessions also included other topics, such as “The Emirati Publisher and ” with the participation of Al-Anoud Ali and Hussein Darwish, and “Completing Knowledge of Arts and Literature” with Fay Nasser and Haitham Hussein. “Data and its role in improving the performance of government institutions” with Dr. Laila Faridoun, and other topics that attracted the attention of the audience and contributed to enriching the discussion and knowledge.
As part of the “Knowledge Dialogues” series, the Foundation and the United Nations Development Program launched inspiring sessions to explore developments in education and technology in our contemporary world.
