A Russian missile strike today left at least 14 people dead and 46 injured in Odessa, a port city in southern Ukraine.
“Russian missile attack on Odessa resulted in the death of 14 people, including residents, an ambulance crew member and a rescuer,” he said via Telegram, adding that 46 more people were injured, including seven emergency services workers Ukrainian.
According to Kiper, the crew member and rescuer were killed by a second missile following they rushed to render aid to those hit by the initial strike.
Ten private homes, a low-pressure gas pipeline and rescue vehicles were damaged in the attack, according to emergency services.

According to newsit, Odessa, one of Ukraine’s largest ports, has long been the target of Russian attacks.
“Russian terrorism in Odessa is a sign of the weakness of the enemy, which is fighting once morest Ukrainian civilians at a time when it cannot guarantee the safety of citizens on its own territory,” Andriy Yermak, chief of staff to the Ukrainian president, said in a post on Telegram.
