On March 29th (Friday), Tomoyasu Hotei, one of Japan’s leading guitarists and the composer of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars support song “Yuusha no Gene”, will be a special guest at “OPENING GAME 2024”, the opening game of the 2024 season of professional baseball. We have decided to come to the event.

Tomoyasu Hotei will perform the Yokohama DeNA BayStars cheering song “Yuusha no Gene” during the “OPENING GAME 2024” ceremony, and will also perform the national anthem before the game.

The “OPENING GAME 2024” ceremony embodies the season slogan of “Yokohama evolution.” With the theme of “Evolving Genetic Waves,” a light display will be performed that will unite the stadium.
On the day of the event, Tomoyasu Hotei performed “The Hero’s Gene,” which has been sung for 11 years since its release in 2013, and the fans sang along. The stadium will come together as one for “OPENING GAME 2024” with a corresponding light production using LED bracelets.

On March 29th, we will appear at “OPENING GAME 2024” which will be the start of the 2024 season at Yokohama Stadium.
I get goosebumps when I imagine the moment when the chorus of BayStars fans’ “The Hero’s Gene” echoes through the blue stadium.
I would like to enliven this memorable new beginning with my best performance.
Let’s support Yokohama DeNA BayStars together towards victory. DeNA!!! Go! Go! Go!!!
