In a meeting called by Senator Loreto Carvajal (PPD), different authorities from the region gathered to address this year’s electoral challenges for the center-left.

The assembly included the participation of the mayor of Chillán, Camilo Benavente; the mayor of Trehuaco, Raúl Espejo; the Regional Councilor, Lorena Vera; and councilors from various communes in the region.

At this meeting, representatives committed to participating in the next municipal elections were presented, covering a call that crosses different political sectors, from the Christian Democracy, to the Frente Amplio.

“The diversity of political approaches present highlights the importance of collaboration and unity to address the challenges facing the Ñuble region,” said Senator Carvajal. The legislator expressed its commitment to supporting those who promote initiatives in favor of transparency , and called to avoid individualism. He also highlighted “the importance of collective work to make the best decisions regarding who will represent us.”
