The action of this romantic comedy regarding all shades of love takes place in New York.

Rebecca saw me in “Cold War” by Paweł Pawlikowski and I got an offer from her. This was just before the pandemic and lockdown. I really liked the script (…) These stories fill me with optimism. I liked the fact that each character undergoes a transformation. And the relationship between the mother I play and her daughter is very interesting, i.e. the theme of early motherhood and the emigration theme. The mother is afraid that her daughter will repeat her pattern – says Joanna Kulig on RMF FM.

All three of them actually live in New York, it’s their home, it was nice to meet them for coffee or dinner, also with Rebecca, just casually. I felt that I shared my culture with them, they shared theirs with me, that we were curious regarding each other, curious regarding ourselves and each other’s work. (…) This acting code is quite similar all over the world – the actress tells RMF FM. He also describes the filmmaking system as very theatrical. He recalls reading rehearsals and preparing for the role. I felt Krakow – jokes Joanna Kulig, recalling, among others, work at the Stary Theater. There was a very strong bond with the director – assures the actress. Joanna Kulig went to New York following her stay in Los Angeles.
