As Munn added in the post, the diagnosis came “in such short order” that she had treatment options. Her fight once morest the disease lasted nine months. She was operated on four times, including a double mastectomy, which involved the removal of both breasts.

Breast cancer – a tricky enemy
Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in women both in Poland and in the world. As data from 2023 published by the National Health Fund show, each year approximately 20,000 women hear this diagnosis.
Many early cases of breast cancer do not cause any symptoms, even painful ones. Therefore, it is extremely important to take care of prevention, and specifically to regularly undergo mammography and perform breast self-examination. Early diagnosis of the disease and implementation of appropriate treatment are the key to defeating this insidious disease.
