On Friday, a plane flying from San Francisco to the city of Medford, Oregon, landed with a missing sign, according to Reuters.
None of the 139 passengers on board were injured in the incident, United Airlines said.
In a photo posted on social media, a 737-800 model can be seen missing a panel on the exterior of the plane.
“We will conduct a thorough examination of the aircraft and make any necessary repairs before it is returned to service,” assured the American airline.
This incident joins a long list of events affecting United Airlines Boeing aircraft.
