Russian brand Xcite presented its first model
On Wednesday, March 13, Avtozavod St. Petersburg LLC (ex-Nissan plant) held the premiere of its first model, the Xcite X-Cross 7. By its appearance, it is not difficult to guess the model, which is well known to Russians. Xcite X-Cross 7 turned out to be a licensed copy of Chery Tiggo 7 Pro. In terms of dimensions, this crossover is comparable to the Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. The exact dimensions are 4500x1842x1705 mm, wheelbase is 2670 mm.
Under the hood is a 1.5 turbo engine (147 hp), paired with a CVT. Front-wheel drive only.
The configurations promise to be quite rich. All equipment levels include a “winter package” (heated first and second row seats, windshield, steering wheel and mirrors, as well as heated windshield washer nozzles) and an electric tailgate.
Also, all trim levels include LED optics front and rear, keyless entry and remote key start, a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch screen and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a dashboard with a 7-inch display, six airbags, dual-zone climate control. -control with touch control panel and much more.
According to Ivan Mironov, General Director of Avtozavod St. Petersburg LLC, the first batch of several thousand Xcite cars has already been assembled. There is an active accumulation of warehouse stock to ensure the start of sales in the spring of 2024.

Lada Vesta with CVT: first test drive and prices
This week, sales of AvtoVAZ’s latest new product began – Vesta with a 1.8 Evo engine (122 hp) and a Chinese CVT. The new power unit comes in all trim levels and with all body types. The most affordable option is a sedan in the basic Comfort version for 1,588,900 rubles. The increase in price relative to a similar car with a 1.6 engine (106 hp) and a manual transmission is 75,000 rubles. The most expensive option is the Vesta SW Cross station wagon for 2,127,900 rubles.

The price of Solaris cars in Russia has become known
Solaris cars, assembled from leftover parts at the former Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg, will go on sale in a week at a price of 2.4 million rubles, the Mash Telegram channel stated on Monday, March 11, citing one of the dealers. Later, on Wednesday, Rossiyskaya Gazeta wrote that prices will start from 2,064,000 rubles, medium configurations will cost 2,148,000 – 2,159,000 rubles, and the maximum level of equipment will cost 2,237,000 rubles. Other sources this week wrote that prices would be in the range of 2.2-2.4 million rubles. There has been no official price information yet.
Moskvich will find a new Chinese partner
