The next Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 It is shaping up to be a revolution in the brand’s line of portable devices, with the rumor that it will arrive in three different versions. This launch might coincide with that of Galaxy Ring and the expected Galaxy Z Fold 6 y Z Flip 6 at an Unpacked event rumored to take place in early to mid-July.

The Watch 7 range would include the Classic and Pro iterations, as well as an as-yet-unnamed third option. The latter might correspond to the rectangular-shaped Galaxy Watch model that has been the subject of recent speculation.

If these rumors are confirmed, Samsung would be marking a milestone by presenting three variants of its most recent smartwatch at the same event. Traditionally, the company has offered a standard model and a Classic or Pro version in previous years.

The new wearables would incorporate Samsung’s Exynos W940 SoC, which promises to be 50% more efficient in energy consumption than its predecessor, the Exynos W930 present in the Galaxy Watch 6 series. Although this would not necessarily imply a 50% increase in duration of the battery, a significant improvement is expected.

The W940 might be Samsung’s first processor to employ its 3nm manufacturing technology, which would be a plausible explanation for the improved efficiency. If this turns out to be accurate, we might also anticipate a 30% increase in performance.
