Many residents of North Jutland have taken the call from Region North Jutland to study their health records on sundhed.dk.
The region did so in the wake of DR’s broadcast “Kontant” revealing that several of the 10 clinics that Allas Lægehus operates in North Jutland have taken charge of additional services that some patients do not believe they have received at all.
In the past week, Region North Jutland has received inquiries from more than 60 people from North Jutland who are wondering regarding settlements from their general practitioner.

The many inquiries are important, says head of practice in the North Jutland region, Carsten Haugaard Kvist, to DR.
– Because we are not sitting outside in the consultation room, we cannot know what has been delivered. This means we also do not know whether the bill is correct, he says.
Region North Jutland receives around 11 million bills from the region’s general practitioners every year, and they are currently going following all medical clinics. At the same time, all North Jutland clinics associated with Alles Lægehus have been reported to the Agency for Patient Safety.
According to DR, Region North Jutland proposes to introduce a receipt function, so that it will be easier for both the region and the patients to check what their GP is being paid for.
According to Carsten Haugaard Kvist, it would have a preventive effect if GPs were to sit and consider invoicing the region for services that have not been delivered.
Charlotte Lønskov Jensen, who is chairman of the Practicing Doctors’ Organisation, PLO Nordjylland, does not mind that errors can be found in the settlements from GPs.
– We take a lot of bills every single day, and I think we make a lot of mistakes in those bills. I think the most common mistakes are that we take the wrong bills and invoice too little, she says to DR.
