Cimex’s Cuban financier has recently been promoting remittance shipments to the island, despite the fact that the incidents have not been completely resolved.

In the last hours, they shared a post of the Tocopay platform that invites users to download the application to make transfers to Cuba.

Last month, Fincimex, the Cuban financial company that facilitates remittances to the island, reiterated that remittance companies abroad they compensate their clients for failed transfers. “The company abroad compensates balances and the refund does not take long,” they assured.

However, some users have expressed frustration with the entity’s customer service. A user complained on Facebook: “I already sent them the details of my transaction made since February 2 and they left me seeing the message. Please where is my money? Why don’t you give a clear and concise answer?

Another person complained regarding not being able to use their AIS card since December due to problems with the systems on the Isle of Youth. “I can’t handle that much, please, I haven’t been able to use my AIS card since December, because they still haven’t resolved the systems here to be able to activate my card.”

Evidently, difficulties with transfers to Cuba continue. In fact, the remittance giant, Western Unionhas not yet restored its shipments.

He hasn’t done it either Sandval, another platform with shipments from Europe and in cash. “We are working to restore service. As soon as they are enabled, we will let you know. Thank you for your understanding and patience,” this agency communicated on Facebook.

Meanwhile, other platforms such as Tocopay, Small World or Fonmoney do continue sending remittances to Cuba.
