The most famous constant in mathematics.  Pi Day at WMFiI |  News

Unpredictable, mysterious, unique – everyone knows the number pi from primary school, and some mathematicians follow it until they become professors. On March 13, the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science prepared a number of attractions as part of Pi Dayevents from the series of action events “Science? This is what I like!”

On the occasion of the event, successive digits following the decimal point of the number pi lined the corridors of the faculty, the exhibition “(The) beautiful number (pi)” attracted the curious in the main hall of the Faculty of Physics, and at the stand of the Physicists’ Scientific Club, participants were treated to a number of experiences.
