Carrefour launches in Spain “surprise cars”an initiative where customers will be able to purchase shopping carts without knowing their content, but paying five times less for them. It is the first time that this surprising and original purchasing concept has been launched in Spain.
Consumers will be able to find two types of surprise carts: the first cart contains basic and usual food and hygiene products for the whole family, valued at €50 and which can be purchased for only €9.99.
The second car, composed of non-food items, includes small appliances, stationery, clothing and household items, worth €150, and will be on sale for only €29. The action will be limited to one day and a maximum of one car per customer will be allowed to be purchased. The company has taken maximum care of the items that make up these surprise cars in order to guarantee the satisfaction of its customers and meet their expectations.
First distributor to launch surprise cars in Spain
After launching this initiative in Madrid and Andalusia, the company plans to expand it to other parts of Spain. In this way, the savingkey to the company’s policy, is made visible in a fun, innovative and differential way.
