Saudi club Al Hilal set a world record by winning 28 consecutive matches. The unique feat was achieved by defeating Al Ittihad by two goals in the Asian Champions League on Tuesday. The record of 27 wins achieved by Wales club New Saints in 2016 has given way to Al Hilal.
Al-Hilal, which is coming out with the strength of a large number of stars including Brazilian superstar Neymar, Portuguese star Ruben Neves, Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly, and Moroccan goalkeeper Yassin Bonu, has not lost since they drew 1-1 with Damac last September.
