The Chillán Women’s National Team of the Renacer League remained in the history of the discipline in the National of Río Bueno following winning the title for the second consecutive year, which earned it recognition from the authorities.
The tournament that brings together 12 teams from the south of the country held its eighth edition, where the local squad has been present on two occasions, winning both times.
It should be noted that the championship has a high level of play, where some teams even had professional players. Chillán, for its part, had four reinforcement players from Ñublense.
The representative team of Ñuble was invited by the Governor of Ñuble, Óscar Crisóstomo, to present them with a recognition to value the performance of the Chillanejo team and for raising the profile of local women’s football with a team that demonstrates effort above all, humility and good game on the court.
Each player received a diploma in a ceremony that also included the head of the Social and Human Development Division, Tamara Valenzulela.
The local team also received recognition from the mayor of Chillán, Camilo Benavente.
The Liga Renacer women’s team wants to continue working in a good way to maintain its level of play and now they hope to have the support of the same authorities when it comes to once once more raising the name of Ñublensino women’s football.
Finally, they hope to be present once more next year at the National where they hope to compete once more at the highest level and be excited regarding a three-time championship.
