The Sainte-Verge Seniors Association held its general meeting at the Émile-Plantin Hall. After a minute of silence in memory of the members who died during the year, the president, Christiane Moreau, presented the results of the activities for the year 2023. The club currently has around twenty members who meet every Wednesday from 2 p.m., in winter, and 2:30 p.m., in summer, for game followingnoons at the Émile-Plantin room.
The president then spoke regarding the different meals that will be organized during the year 2024: the first in April, the second in August and, to end the year in a friendly atmosphere, the last is planned for December.
The meeting ended with the dean, Héléna Blanchard, a loyal member, always happy to come on Wednesdays. She blew out her 93 candles, with great emotion, well surrounded.
Christiane Moreau invites all people who wish to come and join the club with great pleasure. The office is made up of: Christiane Moreau, president; Jacques Jeanot, treasurer; Dominique Jeanot, secretary. The contribution remains unchanged at €12.
