Tiered manual RECAPITULATION of the 2024 election vote results is still ongoing at the provincial and national levels. Secretary General of the Independent Election Monitoring Committee (KIPP) Kaka Suminta has a number of records of fraud in the 2024 General Election recapitulation.

Kaka said that data on vote acquisition for five types of ballot papers, namely Presidential Election votes, DPR, DPD and Provincial and Regency/City DPRD votes, cannot be accessed either through the KPU website, especially model C results (TPS level) and model D results (District level). ).

“In fact, this data should be public data and information,” said Kaka, Sunday (10/3).

In general, said Kaka, interested parties do not get access to model C and model D data online or when requesting it directly from the KPU.

“In this way, the vote acquisition data becomes partially closed information due to the conditions in numbers 1 and 2 above,” he said.

As a result, it was found that the fraud method was carried out by manipulating either the C results data and/or by changing the composition of the C results obtained.

“As is happening, and not limited to Brebes, Cirebon, Bandung City, North Jakarta, Subang, Purwakarta, Bekasi and Banten,” he said.

In carrying out this method of manipulation, Kaka said that the recapitulation was characterized by intimidation and threats aimed at election organizers, election participants and observers.

“We found that many of these manipulation efforts were not corrected in the further recapitulation at the district/city level, so that the vote acquisition data that was brought in and read out at the next level contained data that was different from the C data results,” he said.

Kaka assessed that the KPU and Bawaslu as well as the election organizers under them were unable to provide data on C results

elections both online and offline that can be accessed by interested parties.

Kaka also emphasized that manipulation of vote results is very widespread in various regions, which is making the quality of the 2024 election increasingly worse.

“Attitudes of intimidation and threats (thuggery) should not occur in the 2024 election process, because this will harm democracy in the 2024 election,” he explained.

Kaka also asked election organizers to pay close attention to the process of recapitulating the 2024 election votes at all levels and to improve the election results in accordance with the facts of the actual vote acquisition.

“We also ask Bawaslu to monitor and follow up on every report of suspected fraud as mandated by Law 7 of 2017 and ask the security apparatus to ensure that the recapitulation process is free from intimidation and threats,” he said. (Z-8)
