On Monday, the probable starters were announced for the Seoul Series on March 20 and 21 between the Dodgers and Padres, which will begin the campaign in South Korea.

Game 1 will see Tyler Glasnow open for Los Angeles once morest Yu Darvish for San Diego.

In Game 2, the Dodgers will go to Yoshinobu Yamamotowhile the Friars will go with Joe Musgrove.

Glasnow and Yamamoto joined the Los Angeles rotation as part of a shocking offseason for the Blues, who also signed Shohei Ohtani to the largest contract in baseball history (10 years, $700 million), among their other moves. .

The Dodgers acquired Glasnow in a trade with the Rays on Dec. 16 and gave him a five-year, $136.5 million extension. Later that month, Los Angeles won the bid for Yamamoto, securing the star Japanese right-hander’s services for 12 years and $325 million (beating Gerrit Cole’s, which was the largest contract given to a starter).

Darvish and Musgrove have pitched for the Padres since 2021, although the Friars will look to get more innings from both pitchers this season following they pitched a total of 233.2 last year.

The Friars are hoping the right-handers will be a formidable duo to lead their starting staff following the departure of NL Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell via free agency.
