Last week, AVTOVAZ announced only the starting price of the Lada Vesta with a CVT. But today the official start of sales has been given – and full price lists for all options have been published. After all, sedans, station wagons, and their Cross versions can have two pedals.
Vestas are equipped with the Chinese WanLiYang (WLY) CVT18 V-belt variator, which is known from younger Chery models. This transmission has seven fixed virtual gears, and an original control program and new fastenings were made especially for the Lada. The CVT is combined only with the upgraded VAZ 1.8 Evo engine, which produces 122 hp. and 170 Nm. Considering that the CVT18 variator is designed for a maximum thrust of 180 Nm, the result is an organic combination.
According to the passport, the Lada Vesta sedan with a 1.8 engine and a CVT is capable of accelerating to “hundreds” in 11.6 s versus 11.3 s for a modification with a 1.6 engine (106 hp, 148 Nm) and a five-speed manual transmission. However, the SW and SW Cross station wagons, as well as the Cross sedan, for some reason demonstrate improved dynamics when switching to a CVT! For example, judging by the passport data, a Lada Vesta SW with two pedals can reach 100 km/h in 11.7 s versus 12.5 s for a manual car: a difference of 0.8 s. But the maximum speed of all body versions of Vesta differs by only 1 km/h: for example, for a sedan with a CVT it is 181 km/h, and for a cross-station wagon it is 174 km/h. Average fuel consumption according to the passport increased from 7.3 to 7.7 l/100 km.

The surcharge for the 1.8 engine and CVT does not depend on the body type and configuration: this is the previously announced 75 thousand rubles. Prices for two-pedal Vestas start at 1 million 589 thousand rubles for a sedan in the Comfort package, which includes two airbags, ABS, air conditioning, LED headlights and 15-inch steel wheels. The Life package adds heated front seats, cruise control with a speed limiter, the EnjoY media system with a seven-inch screen and four speakers, buttons on the steering wheel, and the side mirror housings and door handles are painted in body color. For Cross versions, the base wheels are replaced with 17-inch alloy wheels.
Lada Vesta in the Enjoy version has a heated leather-trimmed steering wheel, a heated windshield, all-round parking sensors and a rear view camera. Finally, the top version of the Techno sports side airbags, three rear headrests, contour lighting, virtual instruments, the advanced EnjoY Vision Pro media system (10.4-inch screen, eight speakers) and 16-inch alloy wheels (Cross has 17-inch ).
Cars are already available for order from all official AVTOVAZ dealers, but there are very few cars in stock yet.
