The central one is Karnavaloupolisfollowing those organized by the Carnival Organization in the Old Slaughterhouses and in the region, gathered hundreds of “bombers” who delivered carnival education “lessons” as they indulged in the chants of carnival magic.

Yesterday’s activities of the Children’s Carnival started with “Cradle Parade”as preschool children accompanied by their parents, started shortly following 11:00 on their imposing route, to end up dancing and singing in the center of the square for the main program.
That’s where the traveling show unfolded “aerials” from La Petite Marguerite (Vasia Tsotsou, Kariophylli Grozoudi).
The Enaerites were two living creatures who played, danced and created countless bubbles and infinite moments of joy and carelessness. This was followed by the musical performance “Zoological… Sound”, which included children’s songs regarding animals, based on the book “The Cabaret of Animals”.

George Christodoulou he presented his melodious and happy songs with his musicians, where parrots, butterflies, hedgehogs and rhinoceroses “paraded” through them. The program was presented by Dimitris Moulinos.
Today’s big parade of the Children’s Carnival will start at 11:00 in the morning, from Omonia square and will spill over to Gounari and Korinthos streets, as well as to Georgiou A’ square.
Around 20,000 small carnival-goers with attendants, divided into 122 participation groups, are expected to take part.
This year, several groups from outside Patras are participating in the parade, including from Chalandri Attica, Nafpaktos, Chalandritsa, Dymi, Kato Achaia, Fraga Achaia, Farres, Alissos, Vassiliko, Lakkopetra, Kato Achaia. Primary schools, kindergartens, daycare centers, children’s creative employment centers, dance schools, local clubs, KDAP MEA participate.
The Municipal Music will participate, the floats of the Carnival of the Little ones that have been made in the Carnival Workshop of the Municipality of Patreon (responsible: Nikos Livanis), in which there are two new ones that will be presented for the first time.
These are the “Carnival Baby” (idea, production: Giorgos Babilis) and “Travel and Fantasy” (idea, production: Nektarios Sarigiannis), while the older “Iguana”, “Carousel”, “Dog”, “Moon” will also be paraded “, “Cipede”, “Circus” and the musical chariot.
The parade will be closed by the established chocolate war.
