John Cena starred in one of the most iconic moments of the night of the 96th Oscar Awards, which took place this Sunday, March 10 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood in Los Angeles, in the United States. The professional wrestler appeared naked on stage, only covered with the envelope that contained the name of the winner for Best Costume Design, which Poor Things finally received. Some images from backstage at the ceremony revealed if he was really naked.
The host of the ceremony Jimmy Kimmel and John Cena starred in a hilarious moment when referring to a situation that happened in 1974. During the 46th Oscar gala, which was presented by actor David Niven, surprise was spread in the audience room when a man, Robert Opel, began running completely naked.
“Today is the 50th anniversary of one of the craziest moments on television,” said Jimmy Kimmel, recalling the hilarious moment. And he pointed out: “Can you imagine something like this happening today?” Given the repetition of the question, John Cena appeared behind the curtain and called the driver’s attention, to warn him that he did not feel prepared to do what they had planned and that he preferred to retire.
