Anushka Shetty has joined Jayasurya in the lead role in ‘Katanaar’ directed by Rojin Thomas. The film crew welcomed the star who reached the set. Based on the stories of Katamamat Katanar, a Kerala priest who believed to have supernatural powers, this film is being produced by Sri Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sri Gokulam Movies. Baiju Gopalan, V.C. Praveen are the co-producers. Executive Producer Krishnamurthy.
This is Anushka Shetty’s first Malayalam film. Anushka Shetty, who wowed the audience with her roles in films like ‘Arundhati’, ‘Baahubali’, ‘Rudramadevi’ and ‘Bhagamati’, is showing a completely different performance to the audience through Katanaar.
It is a great pleasure to be able to work with Tara. This is just the beginning. There are many more films to come. We want to give the audience more of a visual treat,’ said Krishnamurthy, executive producer of Sri Gokulam Movies.
A two-minute long glimpse of the film, which will be shot using virtual production technology, was released on Jayasurya’s birthday. The Glimpse video has been well received. Major portions of the film are being shot on a modular shooting floor of 45,000 square feet. It is a blockbuster film releasing in more than thirty languages. Reach the second image.
