Watching the film “Voladymyr Ivasiuk. My life is a broken string” to the 75th anniversary of the birth of the Ukrainian genius Volodymyr Ivasyuk in the library.

On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the birth of the Ukrainian genius Volodymyr Ivasyuk, the library held a screening of the film with a discussion “Volodymyr Ivasyuk. My life is a broken string.”

Volodymyr Ivasyuk is a faithful patriot of Ukraine, a Ukrainian composer-performer, poet, musician, one of the founders of Ukrainian pop music. Popular songs in the Ukrainian language, which was unacceptable for the Soviet authorities, became the cause of death for the young Ukrainian genius. He is the author of 107 songs only in the Ukrainian language and with Ukrainian content, 53 instrumental works, music for several plays. Professional doctor, violinist, played piano, cello, guitar, singer.

The most famous songs of V. Ivasyuk: “Red Ruta”, “Vodograi”, “I will go to the distant mountains”, “The song will be between us”, “Love blooms only once”, “Ballad of mallows”, “I am your wing”, “Welcome”, “Like a flock of birds” and others.

Spectators not only watched the film, but also cut strips for masking nets for the defenders, doing a doubly useful thing.

Everyone spoke regarding the importance of Ukrainian songs in their own lives, recalled the songs of a talented Ukrainian.

At the end, everyone sang the song “Red Root” together and wished each other a speedy victory for Ukraine.
