Mike Tyson returns to boxing. The boxing legend will compete once morest Jake Paul on July 20 in a huge event that will be broadcast live on Netflix. “I’m really looking forward to getting in the ring with Jake Paul,” said Mike Tyson. “He has grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be fun to see what the desire and ambition of ‘Yald’ can do with the experience and talent of Eaz. It’s a moment of closing a circle, but let there be no doubt, I will get to break his form.”
Tyson last fought professionally in June 2005 and holds a record of 50 wins once morest six losses, with 44 of his victories coming by way of knockout. The former world heavyweight champion is considered one of the best boxers in history.
The 27-year-old Paul, meanwhile, has gone from being a YouTuber to professional boxing and has won nine of his 10 fights. His only loss came once morest Tommy Fury, the younger half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, in February 2023.
“My intentions are set on becoming a world champion,” Paul said ahead of the big fight, “and now I have the opportunity to prove myself once morest the greatest heavyweight champion ever, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time.”
