Embrapa and Venture Hub are open for registration for TechStart Agro Digital 2024
Startups working with digital technologies for the agricultural sector are the main focus of the program aimed at acceleration and open innovation, co-organized by Embrapa Agricultura Digital and Venture Hub with sponsorship from the Sicredi cooperative. TechStart Agro Digital reaches its 5th edition helping startups, companies and institutions to accelerate business and technologies for agribusiness.
Free registrations for TechStart Agro Digital can be made until March 31st
To be part of the program it is necessary to go through the selection process and the first step is to fill out the registration form, available free of charge at platformuntil March 31st.
It is recommended pay attention to the information provided when registeringas the startup will be evaluated exclusively based on the data in the form.
The detailed evaluation of registrants’ information will begin by April 15th and, as startups are approved, they will be called to TechStart Acceleration.
This stage runs from April to June with 13 online and live meetings. The most advanced startups qualify to participate in the next stage, the Techstart Growth track, to be held from August to November.
Themes
The themes prioritized in the 2024 call, which will focus on environmental, social and governance practices (known as ESG) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), are: digital transformation of agricultural chains, promotion of sustainability in supply chains, agricultural supplies, agrometeorology and climate change, and also advanced biotechnology applied to agriculture.
Among the advantages offered in different stages of TechStart Agro Digital to selected startups are specialized mentoring and the sharing of resources such as online knowledge platforms and free access to AgroAPIa platform that offers information and agricultural models generated by Embrapa.
Access to coworking spaces and legal support services are also among the benefits, in addition to the formation of strategic networks based on interaction with the ecosystem.
