Outstanding actor Harry Kane, score: 8
Maybe the curse will be removed following all? His big pair arranged the victory for the Bavarians. The disappointing player Ivan Provadel, score: 3
He has a significant part in both of Kane’s goals
Bayern Munich is having a nightmare season. When in the background the team is regarding to lose the championship following 11 consecutive seasons and when it was already officially announced that Thomas Tuchel will end his career at the end of the season, the Bavarians have one last chance to win the title and that is through the Champions League. Tonight (Tuesday), at least for 90 minutes, we got back the oiled machine that looked great and defeated Lazio 0:3 on the way to the quarterfinals of the European factory, erasing the 1:0 from the first game.
This time it didn’t start in the smoothest way either, but following a number of misses and precisely following Ciro Immobila made a huge miss in one of the few opportunities for the Italians, Harry Kane arrived in the 38th minute and scored to make it 0:1. It was a nice team attack that ended with Rafael Guerrero’s goal for England, who was helped by a very bad push from Ivan Provadel and said thank you. On the brink of the break, Matthijs de Licht’s tremendous volley reached the head of Thomas Müller and from there made it 0:2.
In the second half, the players of the German champion were already completely free, Leroy Sane was close to scoring on several occasions and finally, in the 66th minute, his tremendous kick was repelled by Provdel and Kane was there to push his second and give a clear and unequivocal 0:3. The Englishman, who was chosen as the man of the match, scored six goals in his first eight games in the Bayern uniform in the Champions League, at least for now he also left himself a chance to win the first team title in his career.
