NEP president Manolis Tsouramanis addressed the following message during today’s NEP New Year’s pie cutting event at the Astir hotel: “Thank you very much to everyone who is here today with us to cut the New Year’s pie of our Union. 2023 was a year in which NEP achieved many of the goals it had set, bringing distinctions and successes and leading in all its departments. During the past year we celebrated Panhellenic medals and records, experienced the struggles of our sportsmen and women, experienced the hard work they do in the pool with their coaches and – most importantly – we gained many new friends young and old. The bar remains high for 2024 as well, as we want to experience more great moments and achieve our goals. We want to see more NEP children in the National teams, we want to help and bring events to Patras, we want the swimming pool “A. Pepanos” to have life. I would personally like to thank all my partners and members of the NEP administration, all our friends, sponsors and supporters for their valuable help, the parents because without them by our side we would not have succeeded, our coaches and our athletes who work very hard on a daily basis. I wish health, happiness and success to our team! Happy new year to everyone!”.
