Goa – Services Final in Santosh Trophy, Itanagar. In the second semi-final, Goa entered the final following defeating Manipur’s Vegapor by two goals to one. Services entered the final by defeating Mizoram in the first semi-final. The final is on Saturday at 7 pm.

Within seven minutes of the second semi-final match, Manipur and Goa entered the box twice. After some back-and-forth, Ganbum Pacha Singh’s brilliant shot from regarding 26 yards in the 18th minute broke Goa’s heart. Mizoram captain Sanathoi Mei Thein and his team might not keep up with the speed and the Goan defense was confused. Manipur’s lightning attacks and Goa’s counter-attacks that took advantage of the opportunities that fell ended the first half giving Manipur the lead.
At the beginning of the second half, Manipur went on the defensive and mostly Goa’s attacks. Nelio Maristo Fernandes equalized for Goa in second half injury time as Manipur sealed victory. Nashyo’s goal was through a great bicycle kick. With this, the match went to extra time. Manipur conceded defeat in the 117th minute when Nesho found the target once more; Goa Santosh Trophy final.
