Mr. Thymios Georgopoulos with today’s post, he exceeded all limits of lies and malice, say SYRIZA sources.
According to the same sources Mr. Georgopoulos “claimed that the money was paid by an offshore company, while well aware that OSIOS LLC is a foreign company based in Miami, Florida, USA. He claimed that the company’s loan was entered into the account of Left Media AE on the followingnoon of Friday, 29/12/2023, following the payment of the employees’ salary, while the truth is (which he knows perfectly well) that €20,000 had entered the fund on 21/12/2023 (for the payment of part of the Christmas Gift) and €210,000 on 29/12/2023 at 09.01 am, with the payment of wages to employees starting regarding an hour and a half later (10.26 am ). It is understood that due to the origin of the remittance and the valuer, the money had been sent, two days earlier respectively, both for the Gift and for the payroll”.
“It is now clear to everyone, following today’s posting of Mr. Georgopoulos, on the one hand that his removal was absolutely necessary (and rather late) and on the other hand that the President, Stefanos Kasselakis, as well as SYRIZA-PS will appeal immediately once morest him in Justice for all the false and defamatory statements he made today. It is also clear that he will be referred to the Ethics Committee in terms of his party status,” the SYRIZA sources conclude.

The facts and the deposit accounts disprove the claims of dear comrade Thymios, that the loan from the President’s company was never used.
Specifically: the money from the loan in question was deposited into the account of Left Media SA. time 9:01:14 in the morning of Friday 29 December 2023 and not in the followingnoon of the same day as S. Thymios claims. And the payment of the payroll with this loan money started immediately that Friday morning. The data from the account movements are irrefutable.
It remains questionable why the former Financial Director of SYRIZA-PS makes these kinds of claims.
I have to restore the truth and I ask that false information that has the sole purpose of reducing the offer of President Stefanos Kasselakis, as well as harming the party’s media, is not spread.
I also clarify that Mr. Kasselakis had also contributed 20,000 euros for the payment of the Christmas gift on December 21, 2023, in order to complete the necessary amount on the scheduled dates.

The former finance director of SYRIZA, in his post today, had described the “route” of the Kasselakis loan and when it was returned.
