I would volunteer at 1000Fryd. But the guards refused to let me in

This is a discussion post. The post is an expression of the writer’s own position.

I have written quite a bit regarding the left-wing extremist activist house 1000Fryd in Aalborg in recent weeks. Among other things regarding the nepotism at the place (which I described in a reader’s letter in the music magazine GAFFA Danmark), but also regarding the left-wing extremist nature of the place.

1000Fryd holds a Monday meeting every Monday, where the decisive decisions regarding the site’s operation are taken by those present. 1000Fryd describes the process this way:

“1000FRYD is Aalborg’s user-controlled cultural center and as such 1000FRYD is what you make of it. 1000FRYD forms the framework for a number of very different activities, including (the) concerts (…) We always need more hands and heads , so if you want to get involved, just show up at one of our Monday meetings, every Monday at 5 p.m. in the Hall.”

I have decided to become a volunteer at 1000Fryd because there is a lack of political and age-related diversity on the site.

That’s why I showed up for today’s Monday meeting. Unfortunately, I was supposed to be admitted to the meeting by two sentries – possibly from Antifascist Aktion / Antifa.

I tried to push past the two younger men, but it was not possible.

I therefore called the North Jutland Police, but the police did not want to do anything regarding the matter, even though I thought I was exposed to obvious discrimination based on my legal political views.

I don’t really know what to make of the left-fascist blockade in front of 1000Fryd. I can do nothing as an individual. But of course I intend to complain to councilor Jes Lunde from Aalborg Municipality and the Equal Treatment Board and to follow up on my inquiry to Nordjylland’s Police, as I have clearly been discriminated once morest due to my political beliefs.

An Antifa sticker also adorns the entrance to 1000Fryd’s meeting rooms. You have to let the left-wing extremists not stick anything under the chair. They don’t need it.

I feel strongly that, as a taxpayer in Aalborg Municipality, I am forced to finance a place that is anti-democratic, and I cannot see why I and the Aalborg taxpayers have to pay 1.4 million kroner a year to a place, where there is no political diversity whatsoever. And not the slightest desire to open up to people who do not spiritually and politically belong to Enhedslisten’s left wing. If 1000Fryd is to continue to be a closed left-wing extremist club, it must of course be done with its own money without interfering with the municipality’s operations.
