The Public Ministry (MP) revealed more details regarding the armed incident following a concert in zone 16. The violent event left three dead, identified as Diana Yasmín Chinchilla Méndez, 31 years old; Gerson David Barrera Ajvin, 21 years old; and Ángel Estuardo Trujillo Ajubich, 30 years old.
In the initial reports from the authorities, it was stated that Chinchilla Méndez was pregnant, but relatives said on March 4 that the victim was not pregnant and that the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) had confirmed it.
Regarding the investigation, the MP reported that they collected ballistic evidence and interviewed witnesses and testimonial statements. The prosecution has also identified security cameras in the area, which are expected to be important in clarifying the facts.
According to the prosecution, in the early hours of Sunday, March 3, when the events occurred, a team of criminal investigation technicians, together with prosecutors, worked on collecting evidence at the crime scene on Austriaco Boulevard, zone 16.

In the MP’s preliminary investigation, it is stated that the incident took place following two of the victims left the Karol G concert, which took place near the place.
The investigative entity hypothesized that Christian Heinemann Aguirre, the only person detained in the case and accused of having fired his firearm, was in the sector and that he was paid to “take care” of the vehicles.
The incident, according to the MP, occurred following two of the victims – Barrera Ajvin and Trujillo Ajubich – arrived at where they were parked and discovered that the car’s windows were broken, which led to a confrontation with Heinemann Aguirre.
This discussion escalated quickly and led to the armed attack. As a result, Chinchilla Méndez was hit by stray shots, losing her life due to her injuries.
According to the report of the National Civil Police (PNC), when Heinemann Aguirre was arrested, a 9 millimeter caliber weapon was seized, for which he did not have the corresponding license.
Regarding the detained man, the Army confirmed that he is a sergeant of that institution, but disassociated himself by indicating that he was on rest when the events for which he is accused occurred.
Rubén Téllez, Army spokesman, explained that if Heinemann Aguirre is found guilty, he would automatically be discharged from the Army. Otherwise, he might be subject to an internal administrative process to determine if he committed any misconduct and proceed to sanction him.
Heinemann Aguirre was presented before a judge and was linked to proceedings for the crime of homicide to the detriment of the three deceased people.
The court also decided to send him to preventive detention, and ordered a period of three months for the Prosecutor’s Office to conclude the investigation.
