Representative Cho Kuk proposed the strategy of ‘Constituency is Democratic Party’ and ‘Proportionality is Cho Kuk Innovation Party’ as a way of cooperation.
Reporter Park Yun-soo covered the story.

Cho Kuk, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, visited Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party, to greet his inauguration.
The two criticized the Yoon Seok-yeol regime with one voice and agreed to cooperate in next month’s general election.

″All political forces that want to judge the Yoon Seok-yeol regime must join forces. I think the Fatherland Innovation Party is among them.”

″I am confident that only through solidarity and cooperation like this can we cross the river of Yoon Seok-yeol and the river of prosecutorial dictatorship in the April general elections.″
Representative Cho Kuk ordered the Democratic Party to win the constituency with a one-to-one ratio with the ruling party.
The Fatherland Innovation Party pledged to ensure that all pan-democratic progressive voters come to the polls, and Representative Cho proposed a strategy to create a synergistic effect by dividing roles in regional districts and proportions.

″(In terms of proportion), will the people who come out to the polls to vote for the Fatherland Innovation Party give their (district) other vote to the People Power Party?″
The Democratic Party, which launched a separate proportional coalition, expects that the Fatherland Innovation Party, which clearly agrees with the general election slogan of “liquidating the dictatorship of prosecutors,” will help rally supporters and expand its reach.
While the Fatherland Innovation Party, which distanced itself shortly following its launch, is showing approval ratings that exceed expectations, some analysts say that the Democratic Party’s declining approval ratings due to conflicts over nominations are an opportunity for solidarity.
Representative Lee Jae-myeong visited the Yeongdeungpo-gap constituency, where National Assembly Vice Chairman Kim Young-joo, who left the party, joined the People Power Party and immediately received a strategic nomination.

″When I went to the other political party and listened to what they said, was it true that it was said by a member of our party or a person who was nominated by our party and became vice-chairman of the National Assembly? ″
Representative Lee resolutely refuted the so-called “Sacheon controversy” by Kwon Hyang-yeop, former Blue House Secretary for Balanced Personnel, who served as deputy chief of staff for spouses in the last presidential election.
“He was a member of the Democratic Party who worked for nearly 30 years and served as secretary in the Moon Jae-in administration,” he said, warning, “We will take legal action once morest the ruling party that disrupts the election with fake news.”
However, the Democratic Party accepted Candidate Kwon’s request to “withdraw the single nomination and hold a primary” and decided to hold a two-person primary with Seo Dong-yong, an incumbent in the district.
