The company Constructora Manzano y Asociados Ltda. submitted to the Environmental Assessment Service (SEA) of Ñuble, the environmental impact declaration (DIA), of its housing project DS 19 Parque Lantaño, which consists of the construction of 18 towers with five floors each. one, in the Camino Parque Lantaño sector, in Chillán.
The urbanization and building works, which have already begun, will be carried out on an area of 5.2 hectares, specifically on Las Rosas Street, on a property adjacent to the Nuevo Lantaño condominium (Grupo Pacal).
The project contemplates the construction of 950 apartments for housing distributed in 18 five-story buildings (without elevator), along with 993 parking spaces, 519 bicycle racks, seven commercial premises, equipment and green areas.
According to the owner, in the respective DIA, “the objective of the project is to contribute to covering the growing housing demand in the Ñuble region”, within the framework of the DS 19 Social and Territorial Integration Program of the Ministry of Housing that, through of housing subsidies, aims to integrate families from different socioeconomic groups into the same group, in which some will access housing by taking a mortgage loan, while those with fewer resources will do so without debt. In that sense, they highlighted that the initiative is part of the Housing Emergency Plan defined by the government.
The DIA also details that the total estimated investment in the execution reaches 63.7 million dollars.
The project is made up of five construction sequences of 20 months each, which will be executed successively, one following the other. The first construction sequence has already begun with the construction of 240 apartments on 1.3 hectares (Lot 2). Subsequently, lot 3 will be executed with 240 apartments on 1.3 hectares; lot 4, with 200 apartments on 1.1 hectares; lot 5, with 150 apartments on 0.8 hectares; and lot 6, with 120 apartments on 0.7 hectares.
In this way, the tasks will last eight years and four months, until approximately 2032, during which an average workforce of 80 workers will be required, with a peak of 105.
