If the taxpayer finds inconsistencies, he can make corrections in the pre-filled fields. Corrections can be made with an amending declaration and between the submission of the declaration and the payment of the first installment.

According to the information and planning of the Ministry of Finance, the platform for submitting tax returns should be expected at the end of March. By then, the relevant legislation will have been passed for the automatic pre-filling and submission of the required tax returns for employees and pensioners. And that’s how the annual merry-go-round of extensions will come to an end.

No change is foreseen in the schedule of payments. They remain 8 equal monthly installments starting from the end of July until February 28, 2025. The lump sum payment until the end of July it will entail a 3% discount.
