Yet another record fundraising for a nugget of the new French space. After Aldoria (space surveillance), Latitude (launchers), Exotrail (minisatellite engines), etc., it is the turn of Unseenlabs, which specializes in maritime surveillance from space, to attract investors. The Rennes company announced on February 27 that it had raised 85 million euros. “It’s an acceleration fundraiser,” indicates Clément Galic, one of the co-founders of the company, with his brothers Jonathan and Benjamin. The new investors (Supernova Invest, Isalt and Unexo) join the Definvest fund of the Ministry of the Armed Forces as well as UI Investissement and S2G Ventures in the capital of Unseenlabs.

Since its creation in 2015, the company has raised cumulative financing of 120 million euros. Today it has 75 employees all based in Rennes. “To cope with the increase in activity we are going to double the workforce within 18 to 24 months,” specifies the 40-year-old manager.
