This is the first major system update in 2024 with a lot of useful innovations and a significantly improved Copilot virtual assistant.
Update «Moment 5» or «February 2024 Moment» began its spread from February 29 and is available to all users of Windows 11 versions 22H2 and 23H2. The update brought many major innovations, improving the work of the Copilot AI assistant, Voice Access, the Photos application, etc. Let’s briefly go through the list of the most important changes.
Microsoft Copilot
The “co-pilot” has become much smarter and more functional, significantly expanding its capabilities. The AI assistant has received new plugins with which it can interact with a number of services, such as OpenTable, Instacart, Shopify, Klarna, Kayak and others. Skills have also been updated. They allow you to control your computer, for example, power, Narrator, Recycle Bin, etc. using voice requests, some of which are listed below.

The function makes it possible to remove unwanted elements and objects from images in one click – everything works using artificial intelligence algorithms. The window layout has become even more advanced. Layouts will be able to adapt in accordance with running utilities, thereby allowing you to more intelligently organize your workflow, effectively filling desktop space.
Custom widget feed
Now users can independently customize the feed of widgets, sorting them into categories such as “games”, “news”, etc. If desired, Microsoft News can be hidden – this feature has not disappeared anywhere.
Sharing just got easier
Microsoft has improved file sharing capabilities by adding support for apps like WhatsApp, Snapchat and others, making it easier to share content.
