Apple Australia has released two ads on YouTube, which highlight, based on real events, such as the Apple Watch can save lives. The videos emphasize the importance of the device, focusing on its health and safety features.
The first video shows Bruce, a man who had an accident following colliding with a kangaroo while riding his bicycle. While still unconscious, the Apple Watch detected the fall, called emergency services, and notified his emergency contact.
The second story is told by a mother, whose daughter was alerted by her Apple Watch regarding an abnormally low heart rate. Thanks to the warning, she discovered that she had a severe heart block, requiring a pacemaker implant.
The advertising pieces, titled “Bruce and the Roo” (“Bruce and the Kangaroo”) and “Lexie’s Heart” (“Lexie’s Heart”, in direct translation), go beyond simple advertisements. In fact, they demonstrate how the Apple Watch can be instrumental in monitoring users’ health and helping in emergency situations.
These stories show how Apple Watch can save lives and take care of your health. Like so many other cases, the commercials highlight the advancement in the union between technology and personal care.
Too much, right?! 😊
